This furoshiki cloth is one in a series of designs I have featuring a cat named Kotaro who seems to be a champion cat napper, as he's curled up and snoozing contentedly in each of the scenes! He's a Japanese cat called a mi-ke neko. Mi-ke refers to his calico markings and neko means cat in Japanese.
Here we find him on a chilly winter day with the house decorated for Christmas.
I also sell a furoshiki hanger separately that works very well with this size furoshiki and makes it easy to display this kawaii Japanese fabric on your wall. You can find this handy hanger here.
If you're a cat lover, please check out my other Kotaro designs. And you'll also enjoy my series of designs featuring a kitty named Tama, who seems to be a bit more adventurous than Kotaro, as she enjoys getting out and discovering new places.
It's about 50cm x 50cm(19.69" x 19.69") and like my other furoshiki, is a high quality 100% cotton. It can of course be used as a furoshiki cloth to wrap a small gift, though its petite size makes it best in this regard for smaller items, allowing for enough room to tie it. The rich colors and texture and size make it ideal for home decor or quilting projects, too!
